Whitby downs Lindsay, 5-2

Luke Keenan finished with two points to lead the Whitby Fury to a 5-2 victory over the Lindsay Muskies.

Lindsay was unable to stop Whitby from sending pucks towards the net, and the Fury eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. The defensemen of Whitby were also effective in the Muskies' zone, and came away with two goals.

Whitby also got points from Zack Fisher, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Ryan Taylor, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Whitby also had goals scored by Alex Boudreau and Greg Allen, who scored one goal each. More assists for Whitby came via Reilly Smith, who had three and Jonathan OHara, Scott Kirton, Justin Brand, and Jeffrey Gauld, who each chipped in one.

Lindsay was helped by Nick Isaacson, who had one goal. Isaacson scored 10:56 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Owen Barnett assisted on the tally. James Allen also scored for Lindsay. In addition, Lindsay received assists from Cameron Robinson and Cedric Ralph, who contributed one each.

Jordon White rejected 22 shots on goal for the Fury. Whitby incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Graham Dynes made 35 saves for the Muskies on 40 shots. Lindsay incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
