Wright's goals lift St. Michaels to 7-4 victory over Toronto Patriots

Cameron Wright was all over the ice for the St. Michaels Buzzers, as he tallied four goals in St. Michaels' 7-4 win over the Toronto Patriots Patriots.

Wright's first goal came 14:18 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:43 into the second, at 6:29 into the second, and at 18:22 into the third.

Toronto Patriots was unable to stop the Buzzers from sending pucks towards the net, and St. Michaels eventually piled up 35 shots on goal. The Buzzers surpassed their usual scoring output this season. St. Michaels averages 3.3 goals per game.

St. Michaels also got points from Cameron Searles, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for St. Michaels included Brad Cocca and Thomas Beretta, who each put in one. In addition, St. Michaels received assists from Colton Trumbla, who had two and Luke Branco, Lucas Breault, Sean Kohler, Finn Evans, Noah Jordan, and A.J. Dorazio, who each chipped in one.

The Patriots forced the Buzzers goalie Jacob McGrath to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots. Toronto Patriots got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

The Patriots were helped by Jeremy Pullara, who grabbed one goal. Pullara scored 7:14 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jake Harris assisted on the tally. Toronto Patriots additionally got points from Daniel Barnes, who also had one goal and one assist. Toronto Patriots also had goals scored by Louis DiMatteo and Eric Eremita, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Patriots were Logan Blaser, who had two and Lee Lapid, Jordan Anderson, and Colton Kalezic, who contributed one each.

McGrath recorded 46 saves for St. Michaels. The Buzzers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jacob Standen made 28 saves for Toronto Patriots on 34 shots. The Patriots incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
