Ben Scheel racked up one point to lead the Trenton Golden Hawks to a 4-1 victory over the Pickering Panthers.

Trenton stifled Pickering's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Panthers were unable to stop the Golden Hawks from sending pucks towards the net, and Trenton eventually piled up 47 shots on goal.

Liam Morgan also scored for Trenton. In addition, Trenton received assists from Curtis Harvey, who had two and Kevin Lavoie, Jordan Chard, Keaton Ratcliffe, Jordan DaSilva, and Josh Allan, who contributed one each.

Pickering was led by Dallas Carter, who scored the team's only goal. Carter scored 2:59 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Trenton. Austin Veleke picked up the assist.

Daniel Urbani made 23 saves for the Golden Hawks on 24 shots. Trenton totaled 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and went 0-for-1 on the power play. For the Golden Hawks, Chays Ruddy and Mac Lewis were ejected from the contest. The Panthers' Troy Paquette stopped 43 shots out of the 47 that he faced. Pickering totaled 12 minutes in penalty time with one minor and two majors and went 0-for-4 on the power play. Team's Veleke and Justin Bennett were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
