Lenihan lifts Trenton over Stouffville, 4-1Stouffville Arena Sat, Dec 12, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Quinn Lenihan was all over the ice for the Trenton Golden Hawks, as he tallied two goals in Trenton's 4-1 win over the Stouffville Spirit. Lenihan scored on the power play at 9:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Trenton and again while on the power play 1:44 into the second to make the score 2-0 Trenton.The Golden Hawks stifled Stouffville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Trenton kept the Spirit's goalie busy throughout the game, and Conor McCollum made 36 saves on 40 shots. The defensemen of the Golden Hawks were also effective in Stouffville's zone, and came away with three goals. Trenton also got points from Mitch Emerson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Adam Clements also scored for Trenton. More assists for Trenton came via Mac Lewis, who had two and Kevin Lavoie, Jordan Chard, Jordan DaSilva, Danny Hanlon, and Curtis Harvey, who contributed one each. The Spirit were led by Jackson Savery, who scored the team's only goal. Savery scored 11:42 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Trenton. Justin Mahabir assisted on the tally. Daniel Urbani made 23 saves for Trenton on 24 shots. The Golden Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Stouffville incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. |
