The St. Michaels Buzzers survived a determined comeback attempt by the Orangeville Flyers on the way to a 3-2 win. A goal by Thomas Beretta put St. Michaels up 3-1 in the third period, but Orangeville pulled to within one on Colin Rigney's tally 15:51 into the third period. The Buzzers were sparked by Beretta, who finished with one goal. Beretta scored 7:51 into the third period to make the score 3-1 St. Michaels. Mitchell Devins-Cann provided the assist. The Flyers were unable to stop St. Michaels from sending pucks towards the net, and the Buzzers eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. St. Michaels also had goals scored by Sean Kohler and Cameron Wright, who each put in one. In addition, St. Michaels received assists from Mark Paolini, Colton Trumbla, Noah Jordan, A.J. Dorazio, and Cameron Searles, who each chipped in one. Orangeville forced St. Michaels goalie Mark Manolescu to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Other players who recorded assists for Orangeville were Travis Brown, who had two and Zack Vukosa and Derek Topatigh, who contributed one each. Manolescu rejected 35 shots on goal for the Buzzers. St. Michaels totaled 29 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The Buzzers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Sam Hunter was ejected from the game. Nicholas Latinovich recorded 30 saves for the Flyers. Orangeville totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. For the Flyers, John DiLorenzo was ejected from the game.
