Huge game by Harris boosts Toronto Patriots over Milton, 5-2

Jake Harris had two goals and one assist to lead the Toronto Patriots Patriots to a 5-2 victory over the Milton Icehawks.

Harris scored on the power play at 14:43 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Toronto Patriots and again while 13:52 into the third to make the score 4-1 Toronto Patriots.

Toronto Patriots' offense rang up 43 shots on Milton's net.

Others who scored for Toronto Patriots included Jason DiPerna, Jordan Anderson, and Jeremy Pullara, who each put in one. More assists for Toronto Patriots came via Michael Siddall, Logan Blaser, Cole Purboo, Colton Kalezic, and Nick Stuckless, who contributed one each and Mario Ferraro and Nicholas Ursitti, who each chipped in two.

The Icehawks forced the Patriots goalie Sean OReilly to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Milton was led by Andrew Petrucci, who finished with one goal. Petrucci scored on the power play 8:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Milton. The Icehawks earned a power play opportunity when Connor Beck was put in the box for boarding. Eric Kloucek assisted on the tally. Milton also got a goal from Graeme MacLean as well. In addition, Milton received assists from Brandon Sabatini, Devin Pierce, and Sean Robertson, who contributed one each.

Toronto Patriots' OReilly stopped 33 shots out of the 35 that he faced. The Patriots totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 2-for-4 on the power play. Toronto Patriots ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Beck was ejected from the game. Jakob DeVincentis recorded 38 saves for Milton. The Icehawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
