Orangeville falls to North York in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Ryan Hunt gave the North York Rangers a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Orangeville Flyers when he scored 2:46 into the extra period.

North York was sparked by Hunt, who registered one goal and one assist.

The Rangers forced Orangeville goalie Kasimir Krol to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots.

North York additionally got points from Michael Morgan, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Grayden Gottschalk, who also had one goal and one assist. North York also got a goal from Ted Hunt as well. In addition, North York received assists from Louis Kereakou, who had one and Jeremy Szabo and Tyler Currie, who each chipped in two.

The Flyers' offense rang up 33 shots on North York's net.

Orangeville was helped by Ethan Wiseman, who finished with one goal. Wiseman scored 8:14 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Zack Lyons assisted on the tally. Orangeville also got points from Colin Rigney, who also registered one goal and one assist. Zack Vukosa also scored for Orangeville. Other players who recorded assists for Orangeville were Travis Brown, who had two and James Ranson and Derek Topatigh, who contributed one each.

Jeremie Lintner rejected 30 shots on goal for the Rangers. North York incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Krol recorded 44 saves for the Flyers. Orangeville incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
