Lucas Colalillo scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens held off the challenges of the Orangeville Flyers in a tough 4-2 win.

The Junior Canadiens were led by Andrew Pucci, who registered one goal and one assist. Pucci scored on the power play 1:27 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Toronto Jr. Canadiens earned a power play opportunity when Josh DeFarias was put in the box for holding. David Zeppieri provided the assist.

The Junior Canadiens stifled Orangeville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Toronto Jr. Canadiens forced the Flyers goalie Kasimir Krol to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens additionally got points from Nico Gonzalez, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Toronto Jr. Canadiens also got a goal from Andrew Mullen as well. Other players who recorded assists for Toronto Jr. Canadiens were Carmine Alberga and Eric Eremita, who contributed one each.
