Trenton's Lavoie deadly on offense in 4-0 win against Milton

Milton Memorial Arena     Sun, Nov 15, 2015

Kevin Lavoie was all over the ice for the Trenton Golden Hawks, as he tallied two goals in Trenton's 4-0 win over the Milton Icehawks.

Lavoie found the back of the net on the power play 11:51 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Trenton and again while 4:54 into the third to make the score 3-0 Trenton.

The Golden Hawks put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Milton to score on any of its four power plays. Trenton forced the Icehawks goalie Marcus Semiao to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Trenton also got a goal from Danny Hanlon as well. More assists for Trenton came via Liam Morgan, who had two and Jackson McIntosh, Chays Ruddy, Owen Ramsay, Adam Clements, Nicholas Turenko, and Ryan Smith, who each chipped in one.

Milton managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Icehawks ended up below its season average of 17.0 penalty minutes per game.

Jackson McIntosh made 16 saves for the Golden Hawks on 16 shots. Trenton incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Semiao recorded 37 saves for Milton.
