Rozanov lifts Newmarket over Georgetown, 4-1

Mark Rozanov had two goals to lead the Newmarket Hurricanes to a 4-1 victory over the Georgetown Raiders.

Rozanov's tallies came on the power play at 17:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Newmarket and 18:15 into the third to make the score 2-1 Newmarket.

Others who scored for Newmarket included Alex Ierullo and Jonathan Colley, who scored one goal each. In addition, Newmarket received assists from Nick Kalpousos, who had two, Max Routledge, who had three, and Mitchell Duggan, Curtis Harvey, and Christian Dedonato, who contributed one each.

Georgetown was held below its usual level of production. The Raiders average 3.5 goals per game.

Georgetown was led by Arran MacDonald, who scored the team's only goal. MacDonald scored 11:11 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jack Jacome assisted on the tally.

Newmarket's Connor Ryckman stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Hurricanes incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Andrew Masters made 26 saves for the Raiders on 28 shots. Georgetown incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
