Georgetown blows out Orangeville, 4-1

The Orangeville Flyers had trouble finding ways to stop the Georgetown Raiders, which beat Flyers, 4-1.

Georgetown was sparked by Brendan Jacome, who had one goal. Jacome scored 6:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Georgetown. Ashur Elliot provided the assist.

The Raiders' offense rang up 36 shots on Orangeville's net.

Others who scored for Georgetown included Bailey Molella, Jack Jacome, and Anthony Mota, who each put in one. More assists for Georgetown came via Wyatt Hicken, Arran MacDonald, Michael Boushy, Zack Dybowski, Daniel Hardie, and Matthew Cairns, who each chipped in one.

The Flyers were held below their usual level of production. Orangeville puts an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

The Flyers were led by Colin Rigney, who scored the team's only goal. Rigney scored 9:33 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Georgetown. Lucas Smilsky picked up the assist.
