Aurora falls to Kingston in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Anthony Rinaldi gave the Kingston Voyageurs a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Aurora Tigers when he scored 3:38 into the extra period.

Kingston got the win with help from a great game by Rinaldi, who had one goal and two assists.

Kingston additionally got points from Brandon Nadeau, who also registered one goal and one assist. Kingston also had goals scored by Connor Bebb and Jack Zielinski, who each put in one. More assists for Kingston came via Zachary Emelifeonwu, Cole Langfield, and Ian Harris, who contributed one each.

Aurora was helped by Darren Iwai, who tallied one goal. Iwai scored on the power play 2:21 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Aurora. The Tigers had gotten the advantage when the Voyageurs' Reid Russell was sent off for cross checking. Drake Board provided the assist. Aurora also got points from Kyle Locke, who also had one goal and one assist and Board, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Austin Gerhart, who had two and Daniel Mantenuto and Liam Ham, who each chipped in one.

David Richer made 24 saves for Kingston on 27 shots. The Voyageurs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Joshua Boyko rejected 19 shots on goal for Aurora. The Tigers incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
