North York downs Toronto Patriots in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The North York Rangers pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over the Toronto Patriots Patriots on a clutch goal by Jake Harris.

North York was led by goalie Gianluca Baggetta, who finished with 32 saves while allowing one goal. Baggetta certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.57 entering the contest.

The Rangers were led by Harris, who tallied one goal and one assist. Harris scored 3:26 into to make the score 2-1 North York. Nick Campoli picked up the assist.

North York forced Toronto Patriots goalie Sean OReilly to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots.

Ryan Takamatsu also scored for North York. Other players who recorded assists for North York were Jeremy Szabo and Joshua Dame, who each chipped in one.

The Patriots' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four North York power plays. Toronto Patriots' offense rang up 42 shots on the Rangers' net.

The Patriots were led by Connor Beck, who scored the team's only goal. Beck scored 50 seconds into the third period to make the score 1-1. Noah Robinson assisted on the tally.

North York incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. OReilly recorded 46 saves for Toronto Patriots. The Patriots incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
