Diclemente leads Lindsay to shutout victory over Georgetown

Boyd Diclemente made 28 saves to complete the shutout and led the Lindsay Muskies to a 3-0 win against the Georgetown Raiders.

Lindsay was led by Cedric Ralph, who had one goal. Ralph scored on the power play 7:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lindsay. A holding penalty on Kyle Allan had put the Muskies on the power play. Dayton Kent assisted on the tally.

Lindsay managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Muskies finished below its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game.

Lindsay also had goals scored by Brandon Washer and Austin Eastman, who scored one goal each. In addition, Lindsay received assists from Stuart Fierheller and Nick Isaacson, who each chipped in one.

Georgetown was held below its usual level of production. The Raiders put an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game.

Lindsay registered one goal on two power play opportunities. Billy Day made 21 saves for Georgetown on 23 shots. The Raiders incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
