Tyson Bruce had two goals and one assist to lead the Markham Royals to a 4-1 victory over the Toronto Patriots Patriots.

Markham put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Toronto Patriots to score on any of its five power plays. The Royals forced the Patriots goalie Jacob Standen to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Markham additionally got points from Aaron Spivak, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Hudson Michaelis, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Markham received assists from Rylee St. Onge and Joel Knight, who contributed one each.
