Honey Badgers' Justin Foo had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 9-2 win over Burnaby Seamen.

Foo's tallies came at 15:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Honey Badgers and 3:59 into the second to make the score 5-2 Honey Badgers.

The win gave Honey Badgers a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Honey Badgers stifled Burnaby Seamen's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Honey Badgers' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.

Honey Badgers also got points from Curtis Hughesman, who also registered one goal and two assists, Victor Chan, who also had one goal and two assists, and Thomas Cheng, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Honey Badgers also got a goal from David Hui as well. More assists for Honey Badgers came via Paul Chang, who had one.

Burnaby Seamen's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Honey Badgers power plays.

Burnaby Seamen was helped by Jordan Lee, who tallied one goal. Lee scored 19:50 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Honey Badgers. Kenny Dang assisted on the tally. Stephen Fung also scored for Burnaby Seamen. In addition, Burnaby Seamen received assists from Albert Le and Victor Tung, who each chipped in one.

Honey Badgers' David Sebela stopped 13 shots out of the 15 that he faced. Honey Badgers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Kevin Van Thinh Dang rejected 18 shots on goal for Burnaby Seamen. Burnaby Seamen incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
