Bradley Crompton had five goals and one assist to lead Coachs Corner to a 7-2 victory over Boulevard Boys.

Crompton's first goal came 2:19 into the first period. He then added goals at 18:47 into the first, at 19:10 into the first, at 8:04 into the second, and at 16:20 into the second.

The win gave Coachs Corner a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Coachs Corner forced Boulevard Boys goalie Kevin Cameron to work between the pipes, taking 55 shots.

Coachs Corner additionally got points from Nick Johnston, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Andrew Rehtlane, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Coachs Corner received assists from Jordan Sullivan, Gregory Johnson, and Sean Norbury, who contributed one each and Lucas Bedford and Tristan Jones, who each chipped in two.

Boulevard Boys kept Coachs Corner's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jason Granholm made 30 saves on 32 shots.

Boulevard Boys was led by Marcus Houck, who tallied one goal. Houck scored 7:42 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Cameron picked up the assist. Boulevard Boys also got a goal from Kevin Walter as well. Other players who recorded assists for Boulevard Boys were Cole Caswell and Tyler Caswell, who contributed one each.

Coachs Corner incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Boulevard Boys' Cameron stopped 48 shots out of the 54 that he faced. Boulevard Boys totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
