Zac Osinchuk had four goals to lead Deep Cove Jets to a 13-3 victory over Boulevard Boys.

Osinchuk's first goal came 13:14 into the first period. He then added goals at 36 seconds into the second, at 9:06 into the second, and at 11:07 into the second.

The win gave Deep Cove Jets a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Boulevard Boys was unable to stop Deep Cove Jets from sending pucks towards the net, and Deep Cove Jets eventually piled up 54 shots on goal. Deep Cove Jets got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed five goals during the game.

Deep Cove Jets also got points from Scott Williamson, who also racked up two goals and three assists, Conor Enright, who also had three goals and three assists to lead the team in points, Tyler Harriott, who also tallied three goals and two assists, and Stephen Casey, who also finished with one goal and four assists. In addition, Deep Cove Jets received assists from Ryan Heathfield and Cam Huston, who each chipped in four.

Boulevard Boys was helped by Max Sydorchuk, who registered two goals. Sydorchuk scored the first of his two goals at 7:03 into the first period to make the score 1-1. James Brown picked up the assist. Sydorchuk's next tally made the score 5-3 Deep Cove Jets with 16:26 left in the second period. Patrick Payne assisted on the tally. Boulevard Boys additionally got points from Payne, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for Boulevard Boys were Kevin Cameron, Cole Caswell, and Tyler Caswell, who contributed one each.

Eamonn Mackenzie recorded 22 saves for Deep Cove Jets. Deep Cove Jets incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Kevin Cameron made 41 saves for Boulevard Boys on 54 shots. Boulevard Boys incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
