Issigonis' big game bests Turtles in 9-4 Panthers win

Panthers' Quinten Issigonis had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 9-4 win over Turtles.

Issigonis scored at 1:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Panthers and again while 12:29 into the first to make the score 4-1 Panthers.

The win gave Panthers a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Panthers' offense rang up 32 shots on Turtles' net.

Panthers also got points from Ryan Killeen, who also registered one goal and one assist, Anthony Conti, who also grabbed two goals and three assists, Quinton Blois, who also finished with two goals and one assist, and Matt Lucero, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Grady Sheehan also scored for Panthers. In addition, Panthers received assists from Corey Webster and Joel Issigonis, who contributed one each and Luke Kalenuik and Dyllan Quon, who each chipped in two.

Turtles was helped by Kiff Zirpolo, who had one goal and one assist. Zirpolo scored 16:01 into the first period to make the score 4-2 Panthers. Darren Uretsky provided the assist. Turtles also got a goal from Ryan Sullivan as well. More assists for Turtles came via Perry Chow, Scott Buchholz, and Kyle Izatt, who contributed one each.

Jonny Donohoe rejected 19 shots on goal for Panthers. Panthers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Jason Chow made 23 saves for Turtles on 32 shots. Turtles incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
