Saskatchewan JR Pats' comeback falls short, Toronto Bulldogs wins 4-2

Toronto Bulldogs, which led by four goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Saskatchewan JR Pats and clinched a 4-2 victory.

Toronto Bulldogs led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Toronto Bulldogs' Carson Rehkopf scored at 9:08 in the second period to put Toronto Bulldogs up 4-0.

Toronto Bulldogs excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

More assists for Toronto Bulldogs came via Liam Mackenzie, Tristan Bertucci, Zayne Parekh, Larry Keenan, and Owen Outwater, who each chipped in one.

Saskatchewan JR Pats was led by Riley Heidt, who registered one goal and one assist. Heidt scored 14:50 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Toronto Bulldogs. Bauer Dumanski assisted on the tally. Kalan Lind also scored for Saskatchewan JR Pats. In addition, Saskatchewan JR Pats received assists from Brayden Yager, who had one.

Toronto Bulldogs' Joshua Branton stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Toronto Bulldogs incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Saskatchewan JR Pats' starting goalie, Kenneth Marquart, made 14 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Frank Chaboyer, who stopped one shot.
