Allan Chow had two points to lead Team SP to a 7-2 victory over Jello-Shooters.

The win gave Team SP a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Team SP forced Jello-Shooters goalie Randy Dalit to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots. Team SP did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Team SP got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.

Team SP additionally got points from Ryan Wong, who also registered one goal and one assist and Adrian Leung, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Team SP also had goals scored by Alwin Tsui and Daniel Chieu, who scored two goals each. In addition, Team SP received assists from John Nguyenn, who had two and Kevin Nukina and David Tam, who contributed one each.

Jello-Shooters was helped by Markus Lohuaru, who registered one goal. Lohuaru scored on the power play 4:14 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Team SP. Jello-Shooters had gotten the advantage when Team SP's Chris Doucette was sent off for hooking. Neil Spencer picked up the assist. Jello-Shooters also got points from Spencer, who also had one goal and one assist.

Team SP's Boris Lau stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Team SP registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Dalit recorded 29 saves for Jello-Shooters. Jello-Shooters incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
