Neil Spencer was all over the ice for Jello-Shooters, as he tallied two goals and three assists in Jello-Shooters' 8-1 win over Sofa Kings.

Spencer found the back of the net 3:25 into the second period to make the score 5-1 Jello-Shooters and again while 7:00 into the second to make the score 6-1 Jello-Shooters.

The win gave Jello-Shooters a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Jello-Shooters forced Sofa Kings goalie Cristi Halmaghi to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Jello-Shooters also got points from Suraj Johal, who also tallied two goals and one assist, Linus Lu, who also had one goal and three assists, and John Chou, who also registered one goal and one assist. Jello-Shooters also had goals scored by Nick Wong and Markus Lohuaru, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Jello-Shooters were Raj Johal, who had two.

Sofa Kings did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Sofa Kings was led by Will Yuan, who scored the team's only goal. Yuan scored 17:27 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Jello-Shooters. Travis Chastkavich picked up the assist.

Jello-Shooters' Randy Dalit stopped 16 shots out of the 17 that he faced. Jello-Shooters incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Halmaghi recorded 24 saves for Sofa Kings. Sofa Kings registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
