Lorimer leads Usual Suspects over Rebels, 7-2

Kaiden Lorimer was all over the ice for Usual Suspects, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Usual Suspects' 7-2 win over Rebels.

Lorimer scored 16:28 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Usual Suspects. Cam Nakata assisted on the tally. Lorimer dished an assist on Christopher Amenta's goal that made the score 5-1 Usual Suspects at 6:10 into the second period. He added another helper on John Nguyenn's goal that made the score 6-1 Usual Suspects at 7:21 into the second period.

The win gave Usual Suspects a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Usual Suspects stifled Rebels' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Usual Suspects also got points from Nakata, who also had two goals and one assist. Usual Suspects also had goals scored by Baun Adlington and joey Kumar, who each put in one. In addition, Usual Suspects received assists from Sean Simms, who had one.

Rebels' offense rang up 35 shots on Usual Suspects' net. The defensemen of Rebels were also effective in Usual Suspects' zone, and came away with two goals.

Rebels was led by James McWilliam, who tallied two goals. McWilliam scored the first of his two goals at 2:18 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Usual Suspects. McWilliam's next tally made the score 6-2 Usual Suspects with 10:51 left in the second period. Curtis Hughesman picked up the assist.

Usual Suspects' Simms stopped 33 shots out of the 35 that he faced. Usual Suspects incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Edmund Woo made 12 saves for Rebels on 19 shots. Rebels incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
