Huge game by Carter boosts Rebels over SSSK, 7-5Harry Jerome Arena Tue, Jul 21, 2015 Rebels' Jeremy Carter had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 7-5 win over SSSK. Carter's tallies came at 6:13 into the second period to make the score 4-4 and 14:01 into the second to make the score 6-4 Rebels.The win gave Rebels a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. Rebels led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Rebels' David Hui scored short handed at 16:04 in the second period to put Rebels up 7-4. Rebels struggled on the penalty kill, allowing SSSK to score three power play goals on five chances. Rebels got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Rebels additionally got points from Curtis Hughesman, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Mike Bruzzese also scored for Rebels. In addition, Rebels received assists from Carl Chia, Derick Pang, and Peter Kim, who each chipped in one. SSSK's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in four goals.
