Super Saiyans almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Road Warriors managed to pull out a 4-2 win in the end.

Road Warriors led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Road Warriors' Nathan Gibbs scored at 4:31 in the second period to put Road Warriors up 3-0.

The win gave Road Warriors a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Gibbs had two goals and one assist to lead Road Warriors. Gibbs scored the first of his two goals at 9:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Road Warriors. John Chieng picked up the assist. Gibbs' next tally made the score 3-0 Road Warriors with 15:29 left in the second period. Linus Lu provided the assist.

Road Warriors also got points from Brent Magee, who also had one goal and one assist and Chieng, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Road Warriors were Chris Williams and Shaun Krahn, who each chipped in one.

Super Saiyans did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Super Saiyans was helped by Kevin Deacon, who finished with one goal. Deacon scored 15:59 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Road Warriors. Jonathan Freeston picked up the assist. Super Saiyans also got a goal from Jason Leong as well. In addition, Super Saiyans received assists from Nelson Ma and Will Tran, who contributed one each.

Hoi Leung made 24 saves for Road Warriors on 26 shots. Road Warriors incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lewis Chan rejected 22 shots on goal for Super Saiyans. Super Saiyans registered one goal on three power play opportunities.
