Brendan Lee netted a hat trick to lead Notorious Hawks over Sharpshooters, 6-4.

Lee got on the scoresheet 6:55 into the first period. He then added goals at 20:00 into the first and at 10:57 into the second.

The win gave Notorious Hawks a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Darrick Wan also scored for Notorious Hawks. In addition, Notorious Hawks received assists from Brian Luong, who had two and Raj Saroya and Jason Nguyen, who each chipped in one.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Sharpshooters was led by Amir Khaledi, who grabbed one goal and two assists. Khaledi scored on the power play 13:31 into the second period to make the score 5-4 Notorious Hawks. Sharpshooters had gained a power play chance when Wan was whistled for hooking. Derek Kwan picked up the assist. Sharpshooters additionally got points from Kwan, who also registered one goal and one assist. Sharpshooters also had goals scored by Justin Cleveland and Vinay Sharma, who scored one goal each. More assists for Sharpshooters came via Jordan Ramos, who had two and Lance Nguyen and Paul Murphy, who contributed one each.

Daneel Jiawan recorded 21 saves for Notorious Hawks. Notorious Hawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lance Nguyen made 23 saves for Sharpshooters on 28 shots. Sharpshooters incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
