Burnaby Chargers falls to The Other Guys in overtime, 4-3 (OT)Trout Lake Rink 1 Wed, Jul 29, 2015 The Other Guys pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Burnaby Chargers on a clutch goal by Tomas Meredith. The win gave The Other Guys a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. Graeme Good and Parham Kamkar provided the spark for The Other Guys, combining for three goals and one assist. Good had two goals and one assist and Kamkar also added one goal. Burnaby Chargers was unable to stop The Other Guys from sending pucks towards the net, and The Other Guys eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. The Other Guys also got a goal from Jonathan Plunet as well. In addition, The Other Guys received assists from Brett Gibson and Sebastian Gharakhanian, who each chipped in one and Stjepan Rogina and chris gharakhanian, who contributed two each. Burnaby Chargers was helped by Brandon Hall, who tallied two goals. Hall scored the first of his two goals at 11:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Burnaby Chargers. Jonathan Sousa assisted on the tally. Hall's next tally made the score 2-0 Burnaby Chargers with 8:56 left in the second period. Nathan Washington picked up the assist. Burnaby Chargers also got points from Washington, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Burnaby Chargers were Simon Leader, who had one and Joshua Cabrita, who had two. Ted Urbanek made 19 saves for The Other Guys on 22 shots. The Other Guys avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored one goal off of two power plays. Cabrita rejected 43 shots on goal for Burnaby Chargers. Burnaby Chargers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities.
