The Other Guys falls to Burnaby Chargers in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Burnaby Chargers' Jared Stacey scored 5:59 into overtime to beat The Other Guys, 4-3 (OT).

The win gave Burnaby Chargers a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Stacey was all over the ice for Burnaby Chargers, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

The Other Guys' defense shut down Burnaby Chargers' forwards for much of the game, and Burnaby Chargers got off only 11 shots during the contest. Burnaby Chargers did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering just one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Others who scored for Burnaby Chargers included Stephen Cabrita and Adam Davies, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Burnaby Chargers were Nathan Washington, who had two and Simon Leader, Cory Richardson, and Jacob Parr, who contributed one each.

The Other Guys kept Burnaby Chargers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joshua Cabrita made 29 saves on 32 shots. The Other Guys did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

The Other Guys was led by Parham Kamkar, who grabbed two goals and one assist. Kamkar scored the first of his two goals at 6:59 into the second period to make the score 1-0 The Other Guys. Tomas Meredith picked up the assist. Kamkar's next tally made the score 2-1 The Other Guys with 7:33 left in the second period. Meredith provided the assist. The Other Guys also got a goal from Jonathan Plunet as well. In addition, The Other Guys received assists from Brett Gibson, Stjepan Rogina, and Sebastian Gharakhanian, who each chipped in one.
