Shaady Shivji netted a hat trick to lead ZeBros over team bud, 7-1.

Shivji got on the scoresheet 1:51 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:08 into the first and at 8:43 into the second.

The win gave ZeBros a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

ZeBros also got points from James Cho, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Jason Cho, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for ZeBros included Doug Cheng and Sam Najafi, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for ZeBros were Will Tsue, who had one and Timothy Ng, who had two.

Andrew Arciaga recorded 14 saves for ZeBros. ZeBros incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities. Jason Zhen made 23 saves for team bud on 30 shots. Team bud incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
