Vancouver VooDoo's comeback falls short, The Eh Team wins 4-3

The Eh Team came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Vancouver VooDoo, but did just enough to escape with a 4-3 victory.

The Eh Team led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when The Eh Team's Dustin Mose scored at 8:18 in the second period to put The Eh Team up 4-1.

The win gave The Eh Team a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Mose had two goals to lead The Eh Team to victory.

The Eh Team's offense rang up 32 shots on Vancouver VooDoo's net.

Others who scored for The Eh Team included Shawn Hamel and Naythan Rasquinha, who scored one goal each. More assists for The Eh Team came via Nikhil Rasquinha, Matthew Han, Cody Bagg, and Ryan Murray, who each chipped in one.

The Eh Team was unable to stop Vancouver VooDoo from sending pucks towards the net, and Vancouver VooDoo eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Vancouver VooDoo was led by Kevin Lescisin, who had one goal and one assist. Lescisin scored on the power play 15:22 into the second period to make the score 4-2 The Eh Team. Vancouver VooDoo had gotten the advantage when The Eh Team's Neil Sutherland was sent off for cross checking. Babak Filsoof provided the assist. Vancouver VooDoo also got points from John Duong, who also registered one goal and one assist. Ko Hui also scored for Vancouver VooDoo. In addition, Vancouver VooDoo received assists from Wesley K Wong and Mike Doyle, who contributed one each.

Gage Brunet rejected 33 shots on goal for The Eh Team. The Eh Team incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kyle Lescisin made 28 saves for Vancouver VooDoo on 32 shots. Vancouver VooDoo incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
