RMC falls to Vancouver VooDoo in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Vancouver VooDoo's Babak Filsoof scored 2:35 into overtime to beat RMC, 3-2 (OT).

The win gave Vancouver VooDoo a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Vancouver VooDoo came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Vancouver VooDoo was down 2-0 after a power play goal by RMC's Stanley HC Ho at 1:59 in the second period. Vancouver VooDoo knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Stephen Chu at 6:11 in the second period.

Filsoof had a great game for Vancouver VooDoo, netting two goals.

More assists for Vancouver VooDoo came via John Duong, who had one and Kevin Lescisin, who had three.

Vancouver VooDoo was unable to stop RMC from sending pucks towards the net, and RMC eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Irv Akopov also scored for RMC. In addition, RMC received assists from Ivan Tsang, who had two and Andrew Yamada and Chris Umemura, who each chipped in one.

Kyle Lescisin recorded 38 saves for Vancouver VooDoo. Vancouver VooDoo incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Amritpal Gill made 18 saves for RMC on 21 shots. RMC incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
