Holan got on the board by slotting home a goal 4:43 into the second period to make the score 2-0 The Eh Team. Jimmy Wiles provided the assist. Holan dished an assist on Parker Lane's goal that made the score 3-1 The Eh Team at 9:02 into the second period. He added another helper on Lane's goal that made the score 5-1 The Eh Team at 16:54 into the second period.The win gave The Eh Team a 1-0 lead in the best of one series. The Eh Team forced Vancouver VooDoo goalie Kyle Lescisin to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. The Eh Team did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The defensemen of The Eh Team were also effective in Vancouver VooDoo's zone, and came away with two goals. The Eh Team additionally got points from Wiles, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Dustin Mose also scored for The Eh Team. Other players who recorded assists for The Eh Team were Travis Lane, Travis Dicks, Duncan Maclennan, Shawn Hamel, Matthew Han, and Naythan Rasquinha, who contributed one each. Vancouver VooDoo was led by Ko Hui, who scored the team's only goal. Hui scored 5:20 into the second period to make the score 2-1 The Eh Team. Mike Doyle picked up the assist. Gage Brunet rejected 18 shots on goal for The Eh Team. The Eh Team registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. Vancouver VooDoo's Lescisin stopped 33 shots out of the 38 that he faced. Vancouver VooDoo avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays.
