Jagrbombs rides Ong to victory over Villains, 4-1

Jagrbombs relied on the sparkling performance of Tyson Ong in net to grab a 4-1 win against Villains.

The win gave Jagrbombs a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Jagrbombs was led by Greg Fritz, who grabbed one goal. Fritz scored 17:40 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Jagrbombs. Wesley Chao picked up the assist.

Jagrbombs also got points from Chao, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Jesse Anglet, who also registered one goal and one assist. Joe Tozzi also scored for Jagrbombs. In addition, Jagrbombs received assists from Mike Bui, who had two.

Jagrbombs was unable to stop Villains from sending pucks towards the net, and Villains eventually piled up 34 shots on goal. Villains did not rack up many penalties in the contest, totaling only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Villains was led by Stephen Tetreau, who scored the team's only goal. Tetreau scored 15:33 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Lawrence Lee assisted on the tally.

Ong recorded 33 saves for Jagrbombs. Jagrbombs ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Villains' Gary Ng stopped 17 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Villains registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
