Sam Najafi netted a hat trick to lead Diddy Mao over MF Hustlers, 6-4.

Najafi got on the scoresheet 6:16 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:51 into the second and at 19:51 into the second.

The win gave Diddy Mao a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Diddy Mao did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering just one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Diddy Mao's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.

Diddy Mao additionally got points from Jamil Hassanali, who also registered two goals and one assist and Kevin Wong, who also racked up one goal and two assists. In addition, Diddy Mao received assists from Kyle Gooderham, Philip Lam, and Anthony Tang, who contributed one each.
