Slick Hands' Aaron Yip had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-3 win over Direwolves.

Yip scored at 10:11 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Slick Hands and again while 17:36 into the first to make the score 4-3 Slick Hands.

The win gave Slick Hands a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Direwolves was unable to stop Slick Hands from sending pucks towards the net, and Slick Hands eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. The defensemen of Slick Hands were also effective in Direwolves' zone, and came away with six goals.

Slick Hands also got points from Thanh Ho, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Slick Hands included Isaac Chong, who had two and Paul Chong and Kevin Chong, who scored one goal each. In addition, Slick Hands received assists from Aaron Lo, who had one and Hussein Nathani and Steven Nguyen, who contributed two each.

Direwolves was led by Paul Bhangoo, who finished with two goals. Bhangoo scored the first of his two goals at 11:29 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Sabias Lam provided the assist. Bhangoo's next tally made the score 3-2 Direwolves with 5:12 left in the first period. Direwolves had taken the advantage when Slick Hands' Andy Chang got sent off for too many players. Lam picked up the assist. Direwolves also got a goal from Michael Kang as well. More assists for Direwolves came via Thomas Wong, who had one.

Sam Chin rejected 20 shots on goal for Slick Hands. Slick Hands incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Tyson Ong recorded 24 saves for Direwolves. Direwolves ended with no penalties and went 1-for-3 on the power play.
