Nelson Ma had two goals and one assist to lead Super Saiyans to an 8-5 victory over Teambag.

Ma found the back of the net 4:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Super Saiyans and again while 14:44 into the second to make the score 8-4 Super Saiyans.

In the losing effort, Teambag was paced by Nathan Fretz, who finished with three goals and one assist.

Teambag was unable to stop Super Saiyans from sending pucks towards the net, and Super Saiyans eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Super Saiyans surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Super Saiyans has scored at the pace of 4.2 goals per game during the current campaign.

Super Saiyans also got points from Eric Siu, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Ted Chang, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Super Saiyans included Wes Liu, who had two and Alan Vuong and Jonathan Freeston, who each put in one. In addition, Super Saiyans received assists from Stephen Sim, who had two and Jason Leong, Kevin Deacon, and Will Tran, who contributed one each.

Teambag did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up just one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Teambag additionally got points from Kevin Cameron, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Michael Zima, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Teambag came via Jamie Tolliday, who had three and Anton Verenitch and Chenier Hundal, who each chipped in one.

Lewis Chan recorded 25 saves for Super Saiyans. Super Saiyans avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays. Kieran Wasylyshyn made 25 saves for Teambag on 33 shots. Teambag registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
