Lind nets hat trick, leads Saskatchewan JR Pats to 4-3 win over Team Minnesota

Kalan Lind netted a hat trick to lead Saskatchewan JR Pats over Team Minnesota, 4-3.

Lind got on the scoresheet 4:30 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:45 into the second and at 5:38 into the third.

Saskatchewan JR Pats additionally got points from Brayden Yager, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. More assists for Saskatchewan JR Pats came via Bauer Dumanski, who had one and Riley Heidt, who had two.

Team Minnesota was helped by Ty Hanson, who racked up one goal. Hanson scored on the power play 6:29 into the second period to make the score 2-2. An interference penalty on Pavel Mckenzie had put Team Minnesota on the power play. William Whitelaw picked up the assist. Team Minnesota also got points from Whitelaw, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Team Minnesota also got a goal from Oliver Moore as well. In addition, Team Minnesota received assists from Barrett Dexheimer, who had one.

Kenneth Marquart made 22 saves for Saskatchewan JR Pats on 25 shots. Saskatchewan JR Pats incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Team Minnesota's Sam Stockman stopped 14 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Team Minnesota incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
