BC Junior Canucks outlasts Saskatchewan JR Pats, 4-2

The game between BC Junior Canucks and Saskatchewan JR Pats was tight through all 39 minutes, but in the end BC Junior Canucks emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Walker Gelbard secured the win for BC Junior Canucks with a goal in the third period.

Gelbard was all over the ice for BC Junior Canucks, as he had two goals in the win.

BC Junior Canucks did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

BC Junior Canucks additionally got points from Andrew Cristall, who also registered one goal and one assist. Kaden Shahan also scored for BC Junior Canucks. More assists for BC Junior Canucks came via Owen Beckner, who had two and Brady Milburn and Hoyt Stanley, who each chipped in one.

Saskatchewan JR Pats was helped by Pavel Mckenzie, who grabbed one goal. Mckenzie scored 8:11 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Saskatchewan JR Pats. Ben Riche picked up the assist. Saskatchewan JR Pats also got points from Bauer Dumanski, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Saskatchewan JR Pats received assists from Anthony Wilson and Noah Asmundson, who contributed one each.

Jaiden Sharma made 20 saves for BC Junior Canucks on 22 shots. BC Junior Canucks registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Saskatchewan JR Pats' starting goalie, Frank Chaboyer, made 14 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Kenneth Marquart, who stopped one shot. Saskatchewan JR Pats incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
