Montreal Ice Storm downs Winnipeg Junior Jets in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

Mathieu Cataford gave Montreal Ice Storm a 2-1 (OT) victory over Winnipeg Junior Jets when he scored 24 seconds into the extra period.

Montreal Ice Storm was led by goalie Rudy Guimond, who finished with 28 saves while allowing one goal. Guimond certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 5.17 entering the contest.

Montreal Ice Storm was led by Cataford, who finished with one goal.

Montreal Ice Storm stifled Winnipeg Junior Jets' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Montreal Ice Storm also got a goal from Ephram McNutt as well. In addition, Montreal Ice Storm received assists from Theo Lemieux, David Lebel, and Tyler Pazin, who contributed one each.

Winnipeg Junior Jets was led by Lukas Hansen, who scored the team's only goal. Hansen scored 10:24 into the third period to make the score 1-1. London Hoilett picked up the assist.

Montreal Ice Storm incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Francois Gagnon rejected 13 shots on goal for Winnipeg Junior Jets. Winnipeg Junior Jets incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
