Boston Junior Bruins downs Connecticut Jr Rangers in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Will Smith gave Boston Junior Bruins a 4-3 (OT) victory over Connecticut Jr Rangers when he scored 19 seconds into the extra period.

Smith had two goals to lead Boston Junior Bruins to victory.

Others who scored for Boston Junior Bruins included Joe Connor and Ethan Gardula, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Boston Junior Bruins were Ryan Leonard and Chase Mckenna, who contributed one each.

Connecticut Jr Rangers stifled Boston Junior Bruins' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Connecticut Jr Rangers was led by Tanner Adams, who had two goals. Adams scored the first of his two goals at 4:27 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Chase Pirtle picked up the assist. Adams' next tally made the score 3-3 with 7:47 left in the third period. A tripping call on Ryan Sikorski put Connecticut Jr Rangers on the penalty kill. Connecticut Jr Rangers also got a goal from Logan Renkowski as well. In addition, Connecticut Jr Rangers received assists from Timothy Galvin, Lucas St Louis, and Ryan Fine, who each chipped in one.

Boston Junior Bruins' Jason Delehoy stopped 13 shots out of the 16 that he faced. Boston Junior Bruins incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Ryan Sanborn made 16 saves for Connecticut Jr Rangers on 20 shots. Connecticut Jr Rangers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
