Chicago Jr. Blackhawks downs Team Brick Alberta in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Joey Willis gave Chicago Jr. Blackhawks a 4-3 (OT) victory over Team Brick Alberta when he scored 1:15 into the extra period.

Gabriel Perreault also scored for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks. In addition, Chicago Jr. Blackhawks received assists from Jaden Johnson, who had two and Andrew Schmidt and Joy Dunne, who each chipped in one.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Team Brick Alberta was led by Gracyn Sawchyn, who registered two goals. Sawchyn scored the first of his two goals at 2:00 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Aiden Oiring provided the assist. Sawchyn's next tally made the score 3-2 Team Brick Alberta with 7:45 left in the third period. Bryton Morrow assisted on the tally. Team Brick Alberta also got a goal from Darren Beaver as well. More assists for Team Brick Alberta came via Caleb Leptire and Nicholas Johnson, who contributed one each.

Jefferey Dublo recorded 21 saves for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Alexander Scheiwiller made 13 saves for Team Brick Alberta on 17 shots. Team Brick Alberta incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
