Early goals doom Chicago Jr. Blackhawks, falls to Boston Junior Bruins, 11-3

Chicago Jr. Blackhawks fell behind early, and Boston Junior Bruins kept piling on the points on the way to an 11-3 victory.

Will Smith had two goals and one assist to lead Boston Junior Bruins. Smith scored the first of his two goals at 1:12 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Boston Junior Bruins. Ryan Shaw picked up the assist. Smith's next tally made the score 2-1 Boston Junior Bruins with 15:12 left in the first period. Shaw assisted on the tally.

Boston Junior Bruins' offense rang up 34 shots on Chicago Jr. Blackhawks' net.

Boston Junior Bruins additionally got points from Ryan Leonard, who also tallied two goals and two assists, Shaw, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Conor Lydon, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Will Mcdonough, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Joe Connor, who also tallied two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Boston Junior Bruins also got a goal from Jr Battaini as well. In addition, Boston Junior Bruins received assists from Jack Harney, who had two, Ethan Gardula, who had three, and Cameron Smith and Austin Borggaard, who each chipped in one.

Chicago Jr. Blackhawks did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Chicago Jr. Blackhawks was helped by Andrew Kuzma, who had one goal. Kuzma scored 4:25 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Paul Fischer picked up the assist. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks also got points from Fischer, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Kaeden Hawkins also scored for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks. Other players who recorded assists for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks were Gabriel Perreault, who had two and Nathan Williams and Michael Burchill, who contributed one each.

Paul Dalessio rejected 20 shots on goal for Boston Junior Bruins. Boston Junior Bruins incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Jefferey Dublo made 23 saves for Chicago Jr. Blackhawks on 34 shots. Chicago Jr. Blackhawks registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
