Quon's hat trick boosts Panthers over Dirty Birds, 7-4

Dyllan Quon lifted Panthers to a 7-4 victory with a hat trick against Dirty Birds.

Quon's first goal came 1:12 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:53 into the first and at 7:23 into the second.

Panthers also got points from Luke Kalenuik, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Corey Webster, who also had one goal and one assist, and Joel Issigonis, who also registered two goals and one assist. More assists for Panthers came via Quinten Issigonis, who had two, Quinton Blois, who had three, and Jonny Donohoe and Anthony Conti, who contributed one each.

Dirty Birds got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Dirty Birds was helped by Gavin Dunster, who finished with two goals. Dunster scored the first of his two goals at 9:26 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Devlin Mcbride provided the assist. Dunster's next tally made the score 7-5 Panthers with two seconds left in the second period. Dirty Birds additionally got points from Liam Phillips, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Dirty Birds also had goals scored by Sean Brown and Spencer Galvin, who scored one goal each. In addition, Dirty Birds received assists from Cole Byrd, who had two and Samuel Dickison and Kevin Lam, who each chipped in one.

Panthers' Donohoe stopped 14 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Panthers ended with no penalties and went 1-for-1 on the power play. Robert Mclachlan made 19 saves for Dirty Birds on 26 shots. Dirty Birds avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of one power plays.
