Team OJHL tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but Whitby held on for a 4-2 victory. Whitby made the score 4-0 on a goal by Graeme McCrory at 21 seconds in the third period, and Team OJHL got as close as 4-2 when David Miller scored 8:25 into the third period. Whitby was led by Noah Bull, who had one goal and one assist. Bull scored 13:24 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Whitby. Gavin Browne provided the assist. Others who scored for Whitby included Taylor Bidon and Shane Bull, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Whitby were Connor MacEachern, who had two and Liam McCrory and Matt Latin, who each chipped in one. Team OJHL could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Team OJHL puts an average of 4.1 pucks into the net per game. Alec Williamson also scored for Team OJHL. In addition, Team OJHL received assists from Owen Hurtibese, Cam Smith, and Garrett Ouelette, who contributed one each.
