Fort Frances Lakers (HOST-SIJHL) survived a determined comeback attempt by Dryden GM Ice Dogs (SIJHL) on the way to a 5-3 win.

A goal by Wyatt Cota put Fort Frances Lakers (HOST-SIJHL) up 5-2 in the third period, but Dryden GM Ice Dogs (SIJHL) pulled to within two on Cole Golka's tally 18:54 into the third period.

Lucas DeBenedet had two goals and one assist to lead Fort Frances Lakers (HOST-SIJHL). DeBenedet scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 4:18 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Fort Frances Lakers (HOST-SIJHL) had gotten the advantage when Dryden GM Ice Dogs (SIJHL)'s Nick Eytcheson was sent off for holding. Bryson Jasper picked up the assist.
