The Toronto Patriots Patriots pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over the Toronto Jr. Canadiens Junior Canadiens on a clutch goal by Tyler Currie.

The win by Toronto Patriots clinched the best of seven series at 4-2.

The Patriots were led by goalie Mathew Robson, who finished with 43 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Robson will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 1.66.

Toronto Patriots was led by Currie, who registered one goal. Currie scored 3:34 into to make the score 2-1 Toronto Patriots. Jacob Hayhurst assisted on the tally.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens was unable to stop the Patriots from sending pucks towards the net, and Toronto Patriots eventually piled up 46 shots on goal.

Nico Gonzalez also scored for Toronto Patriots. In addition, Toronto Patriots received assists from Kody Gagnon and Niko Kovachis, who each chipped in one.

The Junior Canadiens' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Toronto Patriots power plays. Toronto Jr. Canadiens' offense rang up 44 shots on the Patriots' net.

The Junior Canadiens were led by Luca Farrace, who scored the team's only goal. Farrace scored on the power play 6:36 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Toronto Jr. Canadiens earned a power play opportunity when Currie was put in the box for kneeing. Justin Maiolino picked up the assist.

Toronto Patriots incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Nathan Colitto made 44 saves for the Junior Canadiens on 46 shots. Toronto Jr. Canadiens incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
