The game between the Cornwall Colts and the Carleton Place Canadians was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Cornwall emerged with a 4-2 win. Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Cameron Roth's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker. With the win, the Colts evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. Peter Angelopoulos was all over the ice for Cornwall, as he had two goals in the win. Angelopoulos found the back of the net 5:03 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Cornwall and again while 18:58 into the third to make the score 4-2 Cornwall. The Colts excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Cornwall also got points from Marly Quince, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. More assists for Cornwall came via Grant Cooper, who had one and Kevin Hope, who had two. Carleton Place kept Cornwall's goalie busy throughout the game, and Denny Dubblestyne made 36 saves on 38 shots. The Canadians were helped by Stephen Baylis, who registered one goal. Baylis scored 15:49 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Craig Pefley assisted on the tally. Owen Stewart also scored for Carleton Place. Other players who recorded assists for Carleton Place were Jordan Larson and Maxime StPierre, who contributed one each. The Colts incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Guillaume Therien made 17 saves for Carleton Place on 20 shots. The Canadians incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
