The LaSalle Vipers tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Leamington Flyers would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. Leamington made the score 3-1 on a goal by Matthew Opblinger at 16:10 in the second period, and LaSalle got as close as 3-2 when Nathan Savage scored 2:23 into the third period. The win by the Flyers clinched the best of seven series at 4-2. Leamington was led by Opblinger, who racked up one goal and one assist. Leamington also had goals scored by Cale Phibbs and Alex Friesen, who scored one goal each. In addition, Leamington received assists from Mitchell Amante, who had two and J.P. Grineau and Kyle Perkowski, who contributed one each. Trevor Wheaton recorded 25 saves for the Flyers. Leamington incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Paolo Battisti made 17 saves for the Vipers on 20 shots. LaSalle incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
