Dundas rides Mole to victory over Brantford, 4-1JL Grightmire Arena Thu, Mar 19, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Mike Mole had a standout game with 39 saves, and the Dundas Real McCoys beat the Brantford Blast 4-1. The win gave Dundas a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Real McCoys were paced by Jordan Foreman, who registered one goal. Foreman scored 18:30 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Dundas. Cam Watson assisted on the tally. Dundas kept Brantford's goalie busy throughout the game, and Anthony Marshall made 38 saves on 42 shots. Brad Bonello also scored for Dundas. More assists for Dundas came via Shawn Snider, who had two and Simon Mangos, Beni Berisha, and Chris McGuffin, who each chipped in one. The Blast's offense rang up 40 shots on the Real McCoys' net. Brantford was led by Chris Rebernik, who scored the team's only goal. Rebernik scored 2:11 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Dundas. Mike Burgoyne picked up the assist. Dundas incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Blast totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Brantford ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Joel Prpic was ejected from the game.
