Michael Barrett recorded a shutout against the London Nationals as the Leamington Flyers picked up a 2-0 win. With the win, Leamington evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. The Flyers were led by Matthew Opblinger, who grabbed one goal. Opblinger scored on the power play 16:19 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Leamington. Leamington had gotten the advantage when London's Callum Ruddock was sent off for roughing. Eric Henderson picked up the assist. The Flyers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Leamington kept the Nationals' goalie busy throughout the game, and Justin Tugwell made 31 saves on 33 shots. Leamington also got a goal from Chris Scott as well. More assists for Leamington came via Kyle Quick, who had one and Tyler Duarte, who had two. London did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Michael Barrett made 28 saves for the Flyers on 28 shots. Leamington incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
